Otto Lopez – Toronto Blue Jays Prospect

Otto Lopez – Toronto Blue Jays Prospect

Position: 2B

Age: 23

DOB: October 1, 1998

Otto looks like he’s a competitor. I can see him being able to adapt how he needs to in order to succeed in the majors. Might develop his own style and approach to the game. He is likely adaptable and can figure out how to get out of a setback. May have a temper. Underdog mindset. If he gets the right supportive coaching, he should go above and beyond to reach his max potential. Might beat himself up too much. Just needs to know how to stay locked in on a good mindset and ignore any outside distractions.

Nate looks like he’d be a great teammate. He seems to want to know how to win and should be ready to handle the big leagues. He likely will figure out what works best for him, but he should take some time to experiment with other pitches and approaches to his game that will add to his repertoire. As long as he stays focused, disciplined, and doesn’t get caught up in his own hype, he should have a very successful career.

Gabriel looks confident at the plate. He seems like he can handle the big leagues. He may need to change his mechanics and could be a bit stubborn to change. If he gets in a groove, he should be able to rake it in at the plate. He might need to make stronger contact with the ball in the future, but he seems to have a strong chance of succeeding in the big.

Colton looks like he needs to develop a bit more confidence, but that might just naturally come with more experience. He seems to have a technical approach to the game, which can help him adjust and find an approach that looks best for him. Once he is locked in, he will need to keep that assertive streak going. He will need to figure out how to get out of his own head if he hits a slump. Just needs to focus on the right approach.

Gunnar looks like he will take the game seriously and look to learn the ins and outs of the game. He may take a bit to get his confidence up, but once he learns the ropes, he should have a long career as a professional.
